Polka Dots...
Up late watching Chelsea Lately on E! Liv Tyler is rocking the long sleeve polka dot shirt with the summer shorts and heels look like the girl with the mermaid hair I shot this week at the Utah Arts Festival. Liv, you look incredible. You have perfect legs.

Set yourself on fire, baby!
I've been a long-time fan of Muscle Hawk. I'm also a long-time fan of their white, head-to-toe look they rocked for the show.
Utah Arts Festival
Snapped from my BlackBerry while sitting on the train. The personality of this girl was so bubbly and infectious.
This girl charmed me with her polka dots and her mermaid hair.
The girl in the red-orange jumpsuit. I saw this girl all over the festival and never really got a great shot of her. She is rocking this hot summer color with the simple leather sandals and clutch.

A short statement on relevance...
As a long time subscriber to GQ and a host of other fashion magazines, I have become familiar with and fallen in love with the work of fashion notables the world round such as Scott Shuman, (fashionably known as The Sartorialist). I have a great love and respect for these people who have taken the world by storm with their new ways of seeing, being seen, and the documentation of such sights.
At this point, allow me to make one thing perfectly clear: I am not The Sartorialist. Inspired by, having a great respect for, and heavily influenced by said fashion icon, yes, but amateur when a comparison is made. I claim no claim to fame in the fashion world. One day hopefully, but as for today, I am still paying dues.
First and foremost an artist, I have always had an interest in fashion. From an early age I was absolutely intrigued and inspired by said fashion and I remember sitting in my bedroom as a teenager poring over fashion magazines wishing I could be the people in the photographs therein. I would think “This is how I want my life to be.” And here I am; a college student sitting in my room poring over fashion magazines and still dreaming of a life in fashion.
I was born in
I began going by the name of @misterarrogant the summer of 2010 when I signed up for a Twitter account. After an awesome year of epic tweets I wanted to find a way of taking my thoughts about college a little more public. In starting MisterArrogant the blog, I intend to share photos and commentaries of students here at the University of Utah , who I otherwise would tweet about to a small band of insiders also known as my close friends.
I intend to share insights to university students who, in the pursuit of knowledge, have also begun to pursue new ways of expressing themselves and who are unafraid to dress up and step out on campus.
In beginning MisterArrogant, I originally was skeptical that I would have nothing to photograph or to write about, after all, I have had my fair share of days where I run to class wearing sweatpants, a hoodie and combat boots from the night before. However, upon careful scrutiny of campus life and with much people watching and observing over the last couple of years, it is my conclusion that campus life provides many opportunities for trend-setters to mark their territory here in a city that otherwise is not known the world over as a fashion hot spot.
So, here’s looking at you, kids.
