More Fur

Moustache Madness and Beard Bliss As Finals Finish Up

Nothing says "It's time to party!" like a moustache after finals. Utes go hard.

Use with care. A well-placed moustache will enhance your game. Stay away from the 70's porn star look, though. That shit cray.

I also enjoy a good beard. Take a ride on my buddy Jack's and see what facial hair is all about.

Jack's personal style would not be complete without his beard. Jack is currently growing a year-beard. I personally hope he weaves leaves and beads into it and runs around like a wood sprite. Just saying.

Earrings & Her Friend with the Frown.

Love these earrings. Playful and care free. "Finals are over and it's time to dress up for all of those college parties on U-Street. Go Utes!" The girl with the grimace can sense how painful the hangovers are going to be. Utes go hard when classes get out.

Fur Craze!

I am obsessed with fur this winter season. From hats and gloves to vests and keychains. Check out www.SpiritHoods.com for some great seasonal accessories.

Great use of boots and fur cap.

These are the Red Fox and Polar Bear Spirit Hoods. Join the tribe.

Garret wore this for a week straight during Halloween. I think that's when my fur craze began.

Reindeer Humping Holiday Looks

Boots, leggings and fun jackets round out a good female wardrobe this holiday season. Also, add a fun hat to leave something to the imagination. This winter, SLC requires an endless supply of hats, gloves, and boots. Mix and match colors, textures and styles to achieve a plethora of looks.

Hollywood Magic for the Holiday season

With movies such as "My Week With Marilyn" coming out and enhancing our entertainment potential this holiday season, try channeling old Hollywood stars and their looks. You'd be surprised how good that Hollywood glitter will look on you.

This look is a fun blend of Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe. Well done Kate Brady.

I love the use of the shawl in this photo. Very old world, movie star lounge-wear. Like maybe Bette Davis or Joan Crawford would wear around their dusty old mansions.

The off-white shawl and the red lip make this old world look undoubtedly pop.

Holiday Formals: Black & White Tie Affairs

Holiday dress-up. The funnest game. Keep it classy.
80's chic, straight glam, like mentioned before

Black Tuxedo, white tie, shades. Such a great look. It says: "I'm serious about making a scene at this party." Can be both a good and a bad thing. Use appropriately.

Full beard and still looking fresh.

If you don't know how to tie a bow tie and you're in college, I suggest you check out Social Primer and learn immediately.

Wardrobe staples: black skinny ties

If you have a date, matching the tie and pocket square to their dress will show them and everyone else you care.

Sisters: Deadly in black and white. Straight killin'-it

Holiday Cocktail looks

Holiday cocktail parties are going to require a nice twist this year. Try for the off-whites or black and gold. If you are feeling frisky, go with a tasteful animal print.

Buns & Sweaters

Add a little boyish charm to your ultra feminine leggings. A high, wispy bun and a chunky sweater will do the trick.

Denim and Plaid

Guys, grab your Canadian tuxedos and a couple well-placed, tasteful plaids. Fall in Salt Lake City this year required nothing less than mountain man couture.

Girls, counter your mans plaid with a fun Native American print. I love this cardigan that she is rocking.

Channeling Middle Eastern chic

Middle Eastern chic. Use when wanting to up the outdoorsy appeal of your wardrobe. Boots, double-pocketed button ups, and a good pair of jeans say "Explorer, adventurer, down for new experiences, and overall badass."

1980's and V-necks

Channeling the 80's. Always a good decision. But remember a couple rules: Keep it classy and keep it print-appropriate. Try for 80's glam more so than '80's punk or street.

Arm yourself with a couple good Vnecks and a good middle finger.

UTA TRAX, Salt Lake City

On the way to the Twilight Concert Series, every damn boy was wearing summer tanks--the smartest piece of clothing for summer and a staple of every well-dressed boy in America. Shout out to Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros! Great show, guys!

Those summer nights...

I love summer for one thing: PARTIES! At a cocktail party last night thrown by some of my best girlfriends at their new house, I found this girl. A friend of a friend, I met her last night and had to have her look for MisterArrogant. She looked sexy and stunning in this black lace top with the beige pencil-mini and black heels. My favorite part? The long, gorgeous, sleek, straight hair. So excited about this look, more looks from the night to follow...

Polka Dots...

Up late watching Chelsea Lately on E! Liv Tyler is rocking the long sleeve polka dot shirt with the summer shorts and heels look like the girl with the mermaid hair I shot this week at the Utah Arts Festival. Liv, you look incredible. You have perfect legs.

Set yourself on fire, baby!

I've been a long-time fan of Muscle Hawk. I'm also a long-time fan of their white, head-to-toe look they rocked for the show.

Of course it wouldn't be the Arts Festival without an incredible performance by local band Muscle Hawk, the gritty, funky, zombie-electro-thrash project of Salt Lake producer/musicians Greg Bower and Josh Holyoak. Great show, guys!

Utah Arts Festival

Snapped from my BlackBerry while sitting on the train. The personality of this girl was so bubbly and infectious.

This girl charmed me with her polka dots and her mermaid hair.

The girl in the red-orange jumpsuit. I saw this girl all over the festival and never really got a great shot of her. She is rocking this hot summer color with the simple leather sandals and clutch.

A couple looks from the Utah Arts Festival which took place this past weekend (June 23-26). Celebrating it's 35th year, the festival drew thousands of people and, aside from the Pride Festival, is always the biggest event of the summer for college kids staying in town over summer break. I happened to snap a couple quick photos.
